Truly Young Education Journey

In May 2019, Truly Young made headlines as the Gen Z celebrity child who has accepted into USC’s prestigious School of Cinema Arts. But the year of her admittance caused a bit of a stir, as her father, Dr. Dre, was at the center of a controversy in March of the same year. It all started when Lori Loughlin has arrested for allegedly bribing university officials to get her daughter into an elite college. After her arrest, Dr. Dre posted a tweet about how proud he was of his daughter, Truly.

However, some reports later surfaced that Dr. Dre and fellow music mogul, Jimmy Iovine, had contributed $70 million to the university in 2013. Feeling the heat, Dre quickly deleted his tweet about Loughlin and replaced it with an apology. Regardless, she has accepted into the university without much trouble, and her father had no involvement in her admittance. Even so, Truly’s story is a testament to the fact that hard work and dedication can open doors that at first seemed impossible.
